Who we are

We love the internet and the people who make it.

The origin story

From a garage to the cloud

It started with a ping that didn't reply. Back in 2019, Alex and Sam were building a side project. Every time they deployed, they spent more time configuring servers and checking uptime than writing code. They were tired of the friction. They were tired of the scary tools. They decided to build something better.

We built Statusly because we believe that infrastructure should feel like a tool, not a chore. Our garage office in Austin might be small, but our ambition is huge. We are a team of engineers, designers, and dreamers who are obsessed with uptime, but even more obsessed with making the process of getting there as smooth as possible.

We are remote-first, but we believe in the power of physical proximity. We have a shared workspace where we hack, drink too much coffee, and debate the best way to deploy a React app. We are Statusly, and we're glad you're here.

Our compass

The values that guide us

These aren't just words on a wall; they're how we ship code and treat each other.

Reliability

We don't just promise 99.9%; we obsess over every millisecond. Your success is our success. We build robust systems so you can focus on building your product.

Transparency

No black boxes. No hidden fees. We share our roadmap, our metrics, and even our failures. We believe in open communication, even when things get tough.

Kindness

We treat our users like friends and our colleagues like family. A quick response to support tickets isn't just service; it's an act of kindness. We lift each other up.

Craftsmanship

We care about the details. From the code we write to the UI we design, we strive for excellence. We build things that are not only functional but delightful to use.

Behind the scenes

Our space and our gear

While we operate globally, our heart is in Austin, Texas. Our office is a converted warehouse space filled with natural light, vintage arcade machines, and, of course, servers.

We take security seriously, which is why our data centers are housed in Tier 4 facilities with 100% redundant power and cooling. When you host with Statusly, your data is in the safest hands possible. We believe that giving developers a beautiful office and their users a bulletproof infrastructure is the winning formula.
